We will be listed on both, with the same cabins and the same photos. In the meantime you book directly over WhatsApp, which is also where you get the better rate: no commission in between.

Where exactly is it?
At the entrance to the village of Santa Catalina, in the province of Veraguas, Panama. You get here by road from Santiago. We send the exact location on confirmation.
Do I need a four-wheel drive?
To be confirmed, depending on the state of the access road in each season. We tell you for certain when you book.
Is the trail finished?
No. It is being built in stages. The first section and the lookout platform are open today. We say so openly so nobody arrives with the wrong expectation.
Do I need to be fit to reach the lookout?
It is a moderate 40 to 60 minute walk with one sustained climb. You can take it slowly. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties.
What if it rains?
The cabins work the same. The trail closes when the ground is slippery or the creek rises, for safety. The trail isn't charged separately, so there is no refund to process.
Are pets allowed?
To be confirmed. The policy will be settled before opening.
Is there internet?
Yes, in the cabins. On the trail and at the lookout the signal is limited, which is part of the point.
Can I walk the trail without staying?
Day entry for visitors is planned, within set hours. Price and hours to be confirmed.

Payment methods: to be confirmed before opening. Local transfer and card will be accepted at minimum.
Booking deposit: to be confirmed.
Cancellation: to be confirmed. The final policy will be published here and sent in writing with every confirmation.
Check-in and check-out: to be confirmed.
None of this gets charged by surprise. If it isn't published here, it isn't charged.
